Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

JJ Roofing – Steel Builder ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. Data we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us when you submit the quote form, call or message us on WhatsApp:

  • Name and phone number (required to contact you)
  • Email address (optional)
  • Project location, service type and any details or photos you share about your roof or site

2. Why we use it

We use your data only to respond to your enquiry, schedule a site visit, prepare an estimate or bill of quantities, deliver the work and issue warranty documents. Because you provide the data voluntarily for these purposes, we process it on the basis of your consent and of legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or lease your information to marketing companies. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (for example our email delivery provider and, if you contact us there, WhatsApp) and when required by law.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will use privacy-friendly settings and update this policy.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and, for completed projects, as long as required for warranty and legal or accounting purposes. After that we delete or anonymise it.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting access to the staff who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal documents unless asked.

7. Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate data
  • Ask us to erase your data, subject to legal retention needs
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to
  • Make a complaint to us first and, if unresolved, to the Data Protection Board of India

8. Children

Our services are meant for property owners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

9. Contact and grievances

To exercise your rights or raise a concern, contact us: Phone +91 95661 61290 or +91 90032 91290. We aim to respond within 7 working days.

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision.
